I thought a good way to celebrate would be to post 5 great cozy mystery books with beautiful covers. Let me know if you agree!
1. Proof of Murder by Lauren Elliott
I love all the covers in the Beyond the Page Bookstore Mystery Series. This room looks so inviting and cozy. Other covers feature the front of Addie’s bookstore in the series. And of course every cover has a bookshelf! On a side note, this book is being released next week, on April 28th. It’s a great series if you’re looking for something new to try.
2. Marigolds and Murder by London Lovett
Isn’t this cover cute? This whole series has a great design. Each book has the same town, but with slightly different elements (such as the weather). And every title is a different flower, featured on the bottom. So clever and pretty!
3. Shadows of the Past by Emily Thomas
Once again, it’s not just this book, but all the books in the Secrets of the Blue Hill Library series that are beautiful. And they’re hardcover. So nice! I love the background colours, too. Don’t you think it adds to the mood of the story?
4. Scene of the Grind by Tonya Kappes
This series is about a coffee shop on a boardwalk of a cozy town. The covers are mostly inviting, outdoor street scenes. And they all include the cute little dog, Pepper.
5. A Tale of Two Bodies by Mona Marple
Another great series featuring a town on the cover, with slight changes from book to book. The sleuth on the cover is really fun and her poses change on each cover, as well.
